so on thursday we made carrot cake muffins and they were good here are the ingredients

so on tuesday we made a constellation map we marked out a few star constellations and this id how we made it.

method : first we cut a circle or paper then we cut a circle of cardboard and we stick the paper on the cardboard  and mark out some so stars and then we put pins in it and get some string and a line it with the pins and lines and then we put some glue on the string so its stuck down when you have done that you can make out the stars and name them .


the difference between astronomer and astrologer is that an astrologer is something that is false science and astronomer is something that is proven science.


 
 

smoothies

on thursday there was a smoothies practical and there was 4 groups rainbow blast,cracking coconut,berry blast and banana breezy and i actually can tell you if they were good or bad because i wasnt aloud to try them i could only have the dairy free one and that one was ok it was just very thin and lacking flavor .

school uniforms should be mandatory for me

 personally i disagree i think that they should not because they are expensive, itchy, uncomfortable and  ugly. It is
a financial strain on parents studies have shown that 88 per cent of parents said they were experiencing financial stress from having to buy school uniforms. see they are bad and the school is always saying that we should express ourselves but that put us in uniforms now not making us an individual but putting our creativity to a side and make us look like everybody else its stupid if you are going to encourage us to be individuals and be creative don't put us in these zombie like uniforms

we have chosen to do stay by rihanna because it was easy for the girls to sing and for us the play on the piano the song is mainly its just about love and lose and confusion with everything the chords on the melody i will be practicing getting everything in time and not muck up thats going to be hard so i have to parcting hard   

home ec

on thursday we made macaroni and cheese i didn't really like it but i'm not the biggest fan of it so that's why our group was difficult that day but we still finished so it was ok the ingredients are butter,cheese,bacon,milk,pasta,and some other stuff that i just can't quite remember

park trip + looking at microscope

last week we went to the park across the road from our school to find bugs and plants to look at through a microscope. we got lots of bugs like ants, grubs and most importantly spiders. we got some plants as well but I guess that's not as interesting compared to the bugs. and there was samples to look at in the microscope to it was really interesting

gymnastics

in gymnastic  this term i would like to learn how to do a  dive roll and i would like to learn how to get up on the bar by myself and do some tramp stuff

i have really enjoyed it and i have completed getting up on the bars and and some stuff to do with the tramps its really good because i have learned heaps in this unit i learned how to do a toe shout and a side mount and head stand alls well as a handstand and a lower arm walk

i was really nervous for the performance because everyone was so good but when i did it was ok because i got it done and it was ok i think it was hard learning the song and strum pattern but i got there in the end so it was ok

i think this one is interesting because its not normal                     when i first saw this on it reminded me 

its something different and i like it                                                of business because she is all dressed                                                                                                          up and looks professional and she is                                                                                                          surrounded in big old buildings 

i am not a big fan of cindy sherman's work because she does alot of clown like stuff and i don't like clowns so but i do like some of her art because its out of the ordinary and  its different and new and i chose these to pieces of her work because they look cool and they aren't something you see everyday so that's why i chose the pieces i did 

BoTtLe RoCkEtS tO pLaNtErS

for the past week and a bit our science class has been working on bottle rockets which we launched today. we used an l&p bottle which we painted golden yellow and pink. on our fins we had a  blue one as well as a red one and a yellow one before most of it also got painted yellow gold. then we had to make a cone using newspaper it took us a while to perfect the tip but we got it in the end.

to fly it we used a air pressure thing connected to a wooden something connected to another thing that connected to our rockets. we had to push down on the air pressure a couple of times to get it to go then the water splatted out to let it fly up.

our group worked well together to get everything done and i really liked to make this bottle rocket and collaborate with my friends.

the planting part
we started with cutting the bottle rocket in half and then we put a cotton ball and a piece of felt in the neck of the bottle. the next thing we did was filling the bottom half of the bottle with rocks and soil, afterwards we planted the radish seeds but my partner just shook the bag over it so hopefully that still works.

i hope our one turns out good  i guess we'll see what happens in around about 5 weeks :)

update on plants

our ones have turned out quite well so far after all that has happened to it. ours is growing well with like a gazillion little stalks coming out of it for some reason. we've been watering them as much as we can and doing all that kinda stuff that you would usually do with plants. here is a photo on how ours looks so far.

fruit crumble

on thursday we made fruit crumble it was really good i didn't expect it to be that good but it was here are the ingredients

we work well in our groups but some people in the group were not doing what they were supposed to do because they were just standing there and not listening but other then that it was fine

on thursday we made spaghetti and meatballs and it was really tasty the ingredients are

the group worked well and we split the jobs out well the food tasted really good and we all did an area of it and put cheese on the top when we were done   

chicken stirfry

chicken stir fry on thursday we made a chicken stir fry and the ingredients are

• chicken
• sesame oil 
• capsaicin carrot corn onion 
• garlic 
• 2 min noodles  

it was actually really good we sliced the veggies and then we cut the chicken into julienne strips and then maintained in the sesame oil and then cooked it and added the vege and garlic then we did the noodles it was really good it was a different type of taste that you don't usually taste and i  liked it the
group work was good because we split jobs and got in  done 

my first solo performance

on thursday we made vegetarian nachos it actually tasted really good we split all the tasks like getting the food and adding it in we work well together the communication was good the organisation is good and our nachos got voted best out of the whole class because we added extra seasoning
