park trip + looking at microscope

last week we went to the park across the road from our school to find bugs and plants to look at through a microscope. we got lots of bugs like ants, grubs and most importantly spiders. we got some plants as well but I guess that's not as interesting compared to the bugs. and there was samples to look at in the microscope to it was really interesting

gymnastics

in gymnastic  this term i would like to learn how to do a  dive roll and i would like to learn how to get up on the bar by myself and do some tramp stuff

i have really enjoyed it and i have completed getting up on the bars and and some stuff to do with the tramps its really good because i have learned heaps in this unit i learned how to do a toe shout and a side mount and head stand alls well as a handstand and a lower arm walk

solo refetion

i was really nervous for the performance because everyone was so good but when i did it was ok because i got it done and it was ok i think it was hard learning the song and strum pattern but i got there in the end so it was ok

steak sandwich

so on thursday we made steak sandwiches and they were really good and our group work well together and split the task evenly the ingredients are

cindy sherman is a american artist she is wildly reconiably as one of the most influential artist in modern photography 

                                                

i think this one is interesting because its not normal                     when i first saw this on it reminded me 

its something different and i like it                                                of business because she is all dressed                                                                                                          up and looks professional and she is                                                                                                          surrounded in big old buildings 

i am not a big fan of cindy sherman's work because she does alot of clown like stuff and i don't like clowns so but i do like some of her art because its out of the ordinary and  its different and new and i chose these to pieces of her work because they look cool and they aren't something you see everyday so that's why i chose the pieces i did 

BoTtLe RoCkEtS tO pLaNtErS

for the past week and a bit our science class has been working on bottle rockets which we launched today. we used an l&p bottle which we painted golden yellow and pink. on our fins we had a  blue one as well as a red one and a yellow one before most of it also got painted yellow gold. then we had to make a cone using newspaper it took us a while to perfect the tip but we got it in the end.

to fly it we used a air pressure thing connected to a wooden something connected to another thing that connected to our rockets. we had to push down on the air pressure a couple of times to get it to go then the water splatted out to let it fly up.

our group worked well together to get everything done and i really liked to make this bottle rocket and collaborate with my friends.

the planting part
we started with cutting the bottle rocket in half and then we put a cotton ball and a piece of felt in the neck of the bottle. the next thing we did was filling the bottom half of the bottle with rocks and soil, afterwards we planted the radish seeds but my partner just shook the bag over it so hopefully that still works.

i hope our one turns out good  i guess we'll see what happens in around about 5 weeks :)

update on plants

our ones have turned out quite well so far after all that has happened to it. ours is growing well with like a gazillion little stalks coming out of it for some reason. we've been watering them as much as we can and doing all that kinda stuff that you would usually do with plants. here is a photo on how ours looks so far.

fruit crumble

on thursday we made fruit crumble it was really good i didn't expect it to be that good but it was here are the ingredients

1. apples 
2. pears 
3. brown sugar
4. oats
5.  flour
6. salt 
7. cinnamon
8.  ice cream 
9. butter

we work well in our groups but some people in the group were not doing what they were supposed to do because they were just standing there and not listening but other then that it was fine   

spaghetti and meatballs

on thursday we made spaghetti and meatballs and it was really tasty the ingredients are 

1. mince
2. sauce 
3. garlic                                 
4. spaghetti 
5. seasonings
6. eggs 

the group worked well and we split the jobs out well the food tasted really good and we all did an area of it and put cheese on the top when we were done
