AIM: to show that hydrogen  gas is produced when a metal reacts with acid

METHOD:

1 . light your bunsen burner

2 . add your sample of metal to your test tube add 2 mL of acid

3 . carefully invert the boiling tube above the test tube containing the metal and acid
    (as shown in the diagram)

4 . hold the test tube together  for a few minutes allowing time for the inverted boiling tube to fill with gas

5 . when you think the tube is full your lab partner should light a wooden splint

6 . carefully but quickly tilt the boiling tube full of gas upwards and insert the burning splint into the mouth of the test tube

hypothesis

my hypothasis is when we put the metal in the acid it will bubble and pop

observation

when we put the acid in the tube with the metal it bubble and when we lit the splint and added it in the gas it pop the first time it didn't work but after awhile it did

conclusion  over all i like it because it was a fun and it was loud and it was a great experant

The Giver

in english we were watching a movie called the giver the movie was interesting it was interesting because it was a world with no emotion so they didn't know what love, happiness or sadness was in there world  they have to follow everything they where told and if something wasn't right they would eliminate them. they kill kids, baby's,teenagers it very scary and odd and the movie was in black in white so they didn't know what colour was . at the end of the movie the barrier was broken and they world turned in to colour and everyone had emotions so i want to see what happens when they have there emotions and i want to see if they dislike anyone

Te Whare Tapa Whā The Māori philosophy toward health is based on a holistic health and wellness model called Te Whare Tapa Whā. This is useful to know because if we know what it is we can work on things if it isn't as stable and work on it so then we are healthy.

I participated well with the group and i helped build the house and i helped write the definition on the walls. It was challenging when we were Building the house because it didn't really work out but that's fine  I worked well with others because we were all talking with each other and we all did our own part Next time i will help with the house more and i would write more information down on the walls.

what dose bacteria need to survive:

Water -- Bacteria need water to dissolve the food they use for energy and growth. ... Energy sources such as sugars, starch, protein, fats and other compounds provide the nutrients. Oxygen -- Some bacteria require oxygen to grow (aerobes) while others can grow only in the absence of oxygen (anaerobes).

what dose bacteria do to you :

Infection with a pathogen does not necessarily lead to disease. Infection occurs when viruses, bacteria, or other microbes enter your body and begin to multiply. ... Pathogenic microbes challenge the immune system in many ways. Viruses make us sick by killing cells or disrupting cell function.
