what is government

government is group of people with the authority to govern a country or state new zealand has a democratic government by voting we give the right to decide on things like laws taxes and treaties

laws
 the system of rules which a particular country or community members and which it may enforce .when the government put laws in place they do it for the safety of us. 

wars 
  a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country.
  sent by the government to protect new zealand the government decides to go into war or        not .

 taxes
  a compulsory contribution to state revenue, levied by the government on workers' income and business  profits, or added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions. they  spend taxes on schools and hospitals and some medical needs for less fortunate and  schools 

treaties  
A treaty is an agreement under international law entered into by actors in international law,  states and international organizations. A treaty may also be known as an agreement, the government send people to make treaties with people to stop wars to make peace
